Behaviour Packages

Please note a veterinary referral with clinical history is required before the first appointment. All packages include liaison with your vet if necessary

A questionnaire will be sent following initial enquiry. For Package 2 or 3 a deposit of £100 and Package 1 a deposit of £50 is required upon confirming an appointment with the balance due at least 3 days prior to the first appointmentAll deposits are non-refundable. In case of cancellation please see Terms and Conditions below. Travel will be charged according to Zone, see below.

Further appointments may be needed when the package is complete @ £70 per hour plus travel.

 

Package 1 From £160 

  • Questionnaire accompanied by video footage of the issue to be completed by you prior to the consultation.
  • Consultation of 1.5 hours in person or via Microsoft Teams. Follow up email outlining the main points recommended.
  • Up to 2 phone calls/emails within two weeks after the consultation.

 

Package 2 From £320 

  • Questionnaire accompanied by video footage of the issue to be completed by you prior to the consultation.
  • 1.5 hour consultation at your home or via Microsoft Teams with on the spot advice and initial exercises
  • Report and written advice to be provided within 14 days of the appointment
  • Follow up appointment by video call/in person of 45 minutes within 2 weeks after the delivery of the programme (travel expenses will be incurred if in person).
  • Contact via email or phone up to twice weekly up to 4 weeks following the consultation to discuss any part of the treatment programme.

 

Package 3 From £420

  • Questionnaire accompanied by video footage of the issue to be completed by you prior to the consultation.
  • 1.5 hour consultation at your home or via Microsoft Teams with on the spot advice and initial exercises
  • Report and written advice to be provided within 14 days of the appointment
  • Two 45 minute follow up appointments by video call/in person to assess progress within 8 weeks of the consultation.
  • Contact via email or phone up to twice weekly for 6 weeks following the consultation to discuss any part of the treatment programme

Client Compliance

 

Whilst every effort will be made to assist with your dog’s issues it is your responsibility to ensure any advice is closely followed. Failure to do so may result in your dog’s behaviour worsening. Any advice will be fully discussed during the appointment(s) however, should any part of the advice be without your capabilities you must inform C S Canine immediately stating why and adjustments will be made if appropriate. It may be necessary to continue therapy after the initial package depending on the severity of the problem. If at any time a new unwanted behaviour is displayed C S Canine should be informed immediately. Should the new behaviour not be connected to that initially reported an alternative package may be needed. C S Canine is fully insured. If your insurance covers behaviour you may be able to make a claim for some or all of the fees. 

You will be asked to sign an agreement to follow the clause above prior to your first appointment.

Further appointments are £70 per hour plus travel.

 Payment

Once a mutually convenient date is provisionally booked a non-refundable deposit of £50 for package 1 and £100 for packages 2 and 3 is required to secure the appointment. If the deposit is not received within 3 working days the appointment will not be confirmed and may be lost. An invoice for the full amount including travel (measured using AA Route Planner) where applicable will be raised once the deposit is received. The balance of the invoice should be paid at least 3 working days prior to the first appointment.

Cancellation

Cancellation of an appointment by the client or their associate:

15 – 30 days in advance – no charge other than the deposit

8 - 14 days in advance – 25% of full fee less travel costs

7 days in advance – 50% of full fee less travel costs

Less than 7 days in advance the total of the fee less travel costs

Cancellation of an appointment by the practitioner -no charge will be made
